Jitesh qualified in 2014 and during his time at dental school gained a particular interest in oral surgery. He has taken the full three years to gain experience as a junior in multiple oral and maxillofacial surgery departments including a major trauma centre at the Royal Stoke. Since 2018 he has been working in an Oral and Maxillofacial surgery department as a specialty doctor gaining experience in dental surgical procedures. He looks to bring the same experience of managing anxious patients referred to the hospital for treatment under local anaesthetic to his work in the clinic.

He is experienced in the management of wisdom tooth issues that can include:

  • Adjustment of the gums around lower wisdom teeth
  • Surgical extraction or coronectomy of high risk wisdom teeth;
  • Open/closed exposure of teeth for orthodontic treatment (as well as removal of ectopic/buried teeth/supernumerary teeth);
  • Cyst enucleation
  • Apicectomy
