Our lovely Dr Sarah Bux is our in-house dentist with a special interest in paediatric dentistry. After graduating from the University of Sheffield, Sarah went on to gain further experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St George’s & Kingston Hospital, passing her membership exams at the Faculty of Dental Surgery in Edinburgh. Sarah’s interest in behaviour management led her to gaining further experience in Special Care and Paediatric dentistry at numerous multidisciplinary specialist services including Central London Community Health and Great Ormond Street Hospital. She Collaborated on various research publications and quality improvement projects, including the use of children’s Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) resources “Your Teeth, You Are in Control”, which went on to be published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at variety of national and international conferences.

Sarah is a seasoned, enthusiastic, well-rounded dentist and enjoys treating adults and children. Parents are keep for her to be their dentist after experiencing the quality and care of her treatment of their children. She works in various dental settings, including urgent care, special case, paediatric community and hospital services. Her proactive approach focuses on preventative and minimally invasive treatments, for which she routinely utilises various behaviour management techniques, including sedation.

She is currently completing her specialty training in Special Care Dentistry at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
