How Does Curodont™ Tooth Caries Treatment Work?

Step 1: Assessment & Diagnosis
Your dentist identifies early-stage, non-cavitated carious lesions – white spots on teeth, early enamel lesions or interproximal ‘watch areas’ confirmed by X-ray. Only suitable lesions are treated.

Step 2: Surface Preparation
The tooth surface is cleaned and lightly etched using phosphoric acid for 20 seconds, opening the porous enamel structure to allow deep penetration of the treatment formula.

Step 3: Curodont Application
The Curodont Repair liquid is gently applied and left in place for 5 minutes. The peptides diffuse deep into the lesion and self-assemble into a biomatrix that begins attracting minerals from your saliva.

Step 4: Natural Remineralisation
Over the next 4–6 months, your saliva delivers calcium and phosphate ions to the biomatrix. New hydroxyapatite crystals form, rebuilding the enamel and reversing the decay naturally.
