Having qualified as a dentist in 2012, Viraj has set out to gain the necessary experience to help him with his goal of becoming one of the lead Implantologists in the UK. He undertook hospital training in Maxillofacial and Oral surgery in 2014 and since has attended multiple Dental Implant courses within the UK. His passion and dedication to achieving perfection and excellence led him to New York City in 2018, where he enrolled for 2 years at New York University (NYU), on the world-renowned Advanced Implant Dentistry Program; famous for training some of the lead dentists currently within the field of implants. Here he excelled, picking up multiple awards and gaining lots of clinical experience, which has led to him being invited to present his work and lecture on the global stage.
Still keen to progress and keep learning he has kept his affiliation with New York University, but is now more focused on perfecting his craft here in the UK to help with the growing demand of Implants and Cosmetic dentistry.
Even though his focus has been in implant dentistry he has also gained valuable experience in cosmetic dentistry including becoming a certified Inman Aligner provider, Cfast braces provider, Invisalign provider and Mini Smile Makeover provider.
He is also experienced in treating patients with a “gummy smile” and also those with receding gums to help with problems such as sensitivity and aesthetic appearance.
Viraj prides himself on his ability to deal with nervous patients and make them feel comfortable within the dental setting. Having seen first-hand the impact dentistry can have on quality of life he is committed to helping as many people as possible achieve the smile they want.
In his spare time Viraj is a keen sportsman, playing golf and football weekly. One of his more recent hobbies is photography, which has helped help him express his more creative side.
